The problem
E-bike rental has a trust problem. Riders worry about whether a bike will be nearby, whether the battery will last the trip, and what happens if something goes wrong mid-ride. That uncertainty is what stops people from renting, not the price.
What I did
I ran user surveys and a competitive analysis, which confirmed three core concerns: locating available bikes, understanding battery range, and feeling confident they could finish the trip. Those findings shaped every screen. I designed the full journey — onboarding, bike discovery, rental selection, live ride tracking, route planning, battery monitoring, charging station locator, and wallet. The hardest part was surfacing real-time battery and route data without cluttering the interface.
The outcome
An end-to-end rental flow that gives riders exactly enough information to feel confident, and nothing more.
