Overview
E-bike rental has a trust problem — users worry about finding a bike nearby, whether the battery will last, and what happens if something goes wrong mid-ride. This internship project at People Tech Group was built around reducing that uncertainty at every stage of the journey. I started with user surveys and a competitive analysis, which confirmed three core concerns: locating available bikes, understanding battery range, and feeling confident they could complete their trip. Those findings shaped every screen. The app covers the full rental journey — onboarding, bike discovery, rental selection, live ride tracking, route planning, battery monitoring, charging station locator, and wallet management. The hardest design challenge was presenting complex real-time information like battery levels and route changes without cluttering the interface. The goal throughout was giving users exactly enough information to feel confident, nothing more.
